Here's the view that I had when starting off on day 2 of the hike. That day's 5 hour hike was nice and cruisy for the most part, which was great after hiking 8 hours up to and past the Ngauruhoe the day before. The weather was sunny with rain likely, which was the forecast for the most of my time in New Zealand. |
