Lake Wanaka and the great ski town of Wanaka. 30 minutes to both Cardrona and Treble Cone ski resorts. It had that great feel of a ski town, laid back, beautiful scenery (well that goes for all of NZ really), and everyone has goggle tans. It was about time it felt like a proper winter. |
