September 24

We left Playa de Mojon on this day and took off with a mission to find a better beach. We liked Mojon but knew that there was more to be had. After a pitstop in Cartagena, and a couple of "not quite good enough" beaches, we found the seaside spot below. Finding a campsite is a bit complicated, because we need a spot where we can park and pitch a tent, but due to tight budgets we're trying to stay at campsites where we don't have to pay. Our plan is to look for free spots, and if a good place can't be found then Jules and I find a pay campsite that has a carpark nearby that Alice, Gareth, and Amy can stay in. The spot below was just a pulloff next to the scenic road beside the ocean, but had plenty of spots to pitch a tent.

This is a nice panoramic picture of the camp site we found. It had many great points: beside the ocean, away from the road, and plenty of space, and a nice hill that we climbed to see the sunset. However there was a lot of trash lying around, which seems to be very common along the coast unfortunately. To make up for camping at a non-designated campsite we collect a couple bags of trash lying around, so that its looks better than when we arrived.
On the other side of the road were these really wild looking small cliff faces, you can catch a glimpse of them from this picture. The next day we went over and walked around these cliffs; go to the next day to see some pictures from that.
